When you’ve finished setting up your ConnectPlus account and have some ad placements all ready to go, you can set up your first campaign to promote your app. In this post, you’ll learn exactly how to do this.
To begin, click on “Campaigns” in the menu on the left hand side of your screen. This area gives you an overview of all your campaigns, including how they are performing. In the screenshot above, you can see some examples already created.
You can create as many campaigns as you like and tweak and test them to see which ones perform the best. You could change the banner, or redirect people who click on your ad to a different URL, for example.
To create a new campaign, simply click on “Create new” at the top right of your screen.
As prompted, give your campaign a name and if you want clicks on your ad to be redirected to a website URL, you can enter this in the second field.
You’ll then need to add in the URL of your app where it’s available for sale, e.g. on Shopify. This is a compulsory field to complete.
Finally, upload the banner advert you’re using to advertise your app. You can click to upload a file, or drag and drop.
Your banner image needs to be uploaded in either a .jpeg or .png format and be 300x110px in size.
All that’s left to do is click on “Activate campaign” at the bottom of the screen!
It really is that straightforward.
You’ll be able to see your newly created campaign under the “Campaigns” option via the left hand menu as soon as its activated.
